February has been a busy month, with the Miami International Yacht Show, Superyacht Australia Soirée 2022, and the German Superyacht Conference on the calendar. Coming up very soon is the Dubai International Yacht Show, YARE 2022, the Japan International Boat Show, Palm Beach International Boat Show, and the Thailand Yacht Show (Part 1) in Pattaya in April.

Simpson Marine’s Hong Kong team have started off the New Year of the Tiger with a superyacht splash, welcoming the first Sanlorenzo SD126 into the city. The yacht was sold by Sanlorenzo Asia/Simpson Marine and has also joined Simpson Marine’s Yacht Management fleet in Hong Kong.

Lantau Yacht Club (LYC) sails smoothly into 2022 with a new Marina Manager Tom Leung who has recently joined the team. LYC’s mission is to offer premium yachting facilities and become the preferred mooring destination and yacht club in Hong Kong.

The first part of the 6th edition of the government-initiated Thailand Yacht Show will be staged in the Gulf of Thailand at Ocean Marina, Pattaya from 7- 11 April, with the second part to follow in Phuket later in the year.

Papa New Guinea (PNG) has relaxed its border rules to allow tourists back into the country provided travellers meet the required conditions.
