Dear APSA Members and Friends

APSA is delighted to be back in Monaco, and will be hosting the APSA Superyacht Night on Tuesday 27 September, at the Novotel Monte Carlo. With eight sponsors onboard and number of APSA members in town for the show, it promises to be a memorable evening. This month’s newsletter features news from of the 45 APSA Members who will be exhibiting and/or attending the Monaco Yacht Show.

The company has undergone a makeover to offer an even greater level of expertise and exclusivity, delivered with the team’s winning personal touch.

Asia Pacific Superyachts (APS) co-founder Captain Gordon Fernandes, along with fellow Directors and GMs from the APS Asia Pacific region, are well prepared and looking forward to sharing new information with visitors at the Monaco Yacht Show 2022 to be held 28 Sep - 01 Oct 2022.

Azimut|Benetti Group climbs to the top step of the podium in five different categories at the World Yacht Trophies 2022, the prestigious awards organised by Yachts France and dedicated to the best motor yachts from 14 to 140 metres launched over the last 12 months.

Superyacht Australia is pleased to announce the new National Committee including a new Chairperson. Chris Blackwell, Sales and Marketing Manager, Echo Marine Group has been appointed to head the new team and brings years of experience to the role.

GMT- Global Marine Travel will be hosting private group lunches at the Yacht Club de Monaco at Le Sunrise restaurant during each day of the Monaco Yacht Show, 28th September to 1st October 2022. As the representatives of Sanlorenzo Superyachts in Asia, Simpson Marine will have the pleasure of showcasing Sanorenzo’s new superstar SP110 on display at the Monaco Yacht Show, alongside some spectacular superyachts from the Sanlorenzo Superyacht Division including 500EXP, The Alloy and the 52Steel.  

After two years of travel restrictions, the team from Rivergate Marina and Shipyard is excited to attend MYS 2022. Rivergate will be one of two Australian shipyard exhibitors at the event, joining forces with The Yard Brisbane, Brisbane Economic Development Agency and industry peak body Superaycht Australia to promote Brisbane and the Asia Pacific region as premium refit destinations.

Affinity Group yachting teams from the Isle of Man and Malta will be attending the Monaco Yacht Show, and team members Andy Morgan, Kate Shaw, Joanne Fenech and Emma Hill look forward to meeting you at the Show!

The Cairns Marlin Marina’s dedicated Superyacht marina Sailfish Quay has been overflowing with yachts since the opening of borders, attracted by the region’s stunning natural attributes and first-class marine services. In recognition of the success of the group in attracting these high yielding luxury vessels to the region, a celebration is held annually on Sailfish Quay.

Hong Kong Boating Industry Association have shared an information paper on ‘Arrangement on Facilitation of Yachting between Hong Kong SAR and Hainan Province’ in China. The information paper informs Members about the Arrangement (Annex) signed between the Marine Department (MD) and the Maritime Safety Administration (MSA) of the Ministry of Transport on 30 June 2022.

Maritime Cook Islands (MCI) is proud to announce that it will be attending the Monaco Yacht Show 2022. MCI will be co-exhibiting with Superyacht Australia, Tahiti Tourism and Fiji Tourism to promote the South Pacific Region for Superyachts.  MCI will be located at the South Pacific Stand Dockside, Opposite Quai Antoine 1er Entrance.
