Australia’s large full-custom superyacht builder Echo Yachts announce the launch of their latest newbuild superyacht: 56m aluminium catamaran Adventure & Support Yacht 'M/Y Charley 2’. Charley 2 is the largest catamaran motoryacht built in Australia.

The Board of Directors of Ferretti SpA reviewed and approved the Group’s H1 2023 consolidated financial results. With a margin of 14.7% and an Adjusted EBITDA of €83.4 million Ferretti Group presents a very strong performance in H1 2023. The order backlog was at €1.4 billion, an increase of 15.8% when compared to H1 2022.

It was a historic moment as two superyachts were docked together at Clearvac Engineering refit facilities in Bangkok. M/Y Annabella, is the latest addition to Clearvac’s list of prestigious clients, and she sounded three loud blasts of her horn in appreciation to the river traffic that patiently waited while the superyacht docked along-side M/Y Nonni II, a 55-meter Italian luxury superyacht already undergoing maintenance inside the adjacent dry dock.

Also we have Superyacht Crew Academy, a registered training organization and industry leader which offers fully accredited courses to enable students to gain qualifications that take them anywhere in the superyacht world. We are pleased to see that APSA’s reach is being extended both locally and internationally.

Dörries Yachts GmbH is a German yacht builder who specialize in the construction of luxury superyachts primarily in the total-length range between 37 metres and 100m +. The shipyard is known for their high-quality craftsmanship and attention to detail and the ability to build yachts that are competitively priced but nevertheless in a quality yacht owners may expect from a luxury superyacht ‘Made in Germany’.

 

Superyacht Crew Academy is a registered training organisation and industry leader, offering fully accredited courses to enable students to gain qualifications that take them anywhere in the superyacht world.  Both International and Australian recognised competencies will place graduates into their dream positions within the superyacht or in the maritime industry across a range of roles and skills.

Beginning in January 2024, some 1.4 billion people from over 60 visa-exempt countries will be required to have a travel authorization to enter most European (EU) countries. The ETIAS (EU Travel Information & Authorization System) is being developed in parallel with EES (Entry/Exit System) to further strengthen the EU’s internal security while aiming to enhance the safety of European citizens and visitors alike.

The Thailand international boat show 2024 (TIBS) will take place at the Royal Phuket Marina between 11 – 14 January 2024, with over 6,000 visitors and more than 100 exhibitors expected to attend. The Thai Yachting Business Association has come onboard as the Supporting Authority, with Royal Phuket Marina as the host sponsor.

Fiji welcomes two superyacht events being run in collaboration at the end of August; The Superyacht Gathering on 23 and 24 August, 2023, and the annual Australia Fiji Rendezvous on 25th August, 2023. The visiting superyacht community being treated to three days of networking, play, fun and inspiration while staying in a tropical paradise.
