Asia Pacific Superyachts Brings Asia to Monaco

Asia Pacific Superyachts (APS) is returning to yachting's flagship event, the Monaco Yacht Show (MYS) and bringing a wide representation of dream destinations in the Asia-Pacific region. Considered the largest annual gathering of superyachts in the world, the 32rd MYS from September 27th to 30th, 2023, is a must-attend event for private owners and new clients seeking the latest and most unique immersive experiences in the yachting world.

Gordon Fernandes, co-founder of APS reporting from Phuket, Thailand, said, “Recurring themes from the last Monaco show were that yachts are getting bigger, and owners are younger and they are getting more adventurous in where they want to cruise. Talking to owners, I found many were bored with the normal ‘milk run’ and want to use their time afloat to cruise to more exotic destinations, with some looking to do a world cruise.  Fernandes added that, “APS will be actively involved in supporting the Asia-Pacific Superyacht Association, and working with Nigel Beatty, APSA Chairman to organise networking opportunities during MYS, and help to promote Asian yachting business members to worldwide yacht businesses who want to do business in Asia - promoting the South, South East and Eastern Asia region to the global superyacht community as one of the world’s three great cruising destinations.

“It is important to us to have an APS knowledgeable team at the Show in order to meet face-to-face with the owners and Captains, and provide answers about cruising destinations, and information about new regulations or facilities. APS co-founder Captain Charlie Dwyer said,” I am passionate about the potential of the Asia-Pacific for superyacht cruising and totally support APSA and their organisation’s goals and objectives. “Our network of APS owner-agents will once again have the latest updates on cruising in the Asia-Pacific for superyacht owners, captains, charter specialists, managers, and other industry professionals. We are proud of our reputation in offering streamlined arrival and departure modes, representing an extension of the close cooperation between APS agents and local government and marine authorities.”

APS Seychelles Manager Director, Christophe Houareau and GM, Peter Alvis, along with APS Maldives Director, Mohamed Hameed and Nidhara Muneer are looking forward to returning to Monaco and welcoming show visitors to their stand located in ? The APS team are excited to share information and news once again on new developments that are making Asia a dream superyacht destination.
