The inaugural  Asia-Pacific Superyacht Summit is taking place in Hong Kong on the 5 and 6 of June, at the Renaissance Hong Kong Harbour View Hotel. The summit aims to develop the Asian superyacht market in a bid to attract more yachts to the region. The two-day event will include a Networking Dinner on the first evening of the event, where attendees can network with colleagues from across the industry.

ASPS is looking forward to meeting members at the Singapore Yachting Festival (25-28 April), and the inaugural ICOMIA Boating Industry Conference (22-23 April) being held at ONE°15 Marina Sentosa, Singapore. With over 70 yachts on display, including several superyachts, there is plenty to engage both industry professionals and visitors alike. APSA is a Supporting Partner for the SYF, and APSA Committee member Alex Teji, (APSA Honorary Legal Counsel) will be attending the Festival, along with APSA Executive Director, Suzy Rayment. Insurance is a necessary evil. A broker is offering an owner a product that both he and the owner hopes will never have to be used. Many believe that the likelihood of having a claim is very slim and therefore feel that there is little point in spending money on insurance. While it is true to say that claims are relatively rare, they do happen and when they do, they are complex and expensive, often leading to a significant amount of downtime for a yacht.

Benetti’s latest unit of Motopanfilo 37M, BMP007 will be delivered to her owner in March 2024. With its timeless design inspired by the "navette" of the 1960s, the exterior lines of the Motopanfilo 37M are designed by Francesco Struglia in collaboration with the shipyard, and the interior design is by Lazzarini Pickering Architects.

Horizon Yachts announced its participation in the Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show on May 23–26, 2024. Two brand new FD builds globally premiered at the 2024 Horizon Open House, and the first V74 customized for the Australian market will share the stage on Pier G. Alongside the FD90 and FD80, and the crowd favourite V74, there will be a range of brokerage yachts.

The ability to reliably ship yachts around the globe is a prerequisite for many of today's regattas. Superyacht Australia has retained the reigns of hosting the “Crew Party of the Year” on the Superyacht Australia calendar of events, with 87 captains and crew from thirty-one yachts currently residing in Sydney Harbour.
