Superyachts 153° Offers Streamlined Marine Park Multi-Pass Options

With Australian borders reopened, Superyachts 153° is offering cruising superyachts a streamlined process for accessing many of the stunning Marine Parks that dot the east coast of Australia. Superyacht 153 has worked with local authorities to formulate a simple system so that Captains can just ‘click and upload’ online forms that allow their yacht to access in some of the most unique places in Australia.

Guests can go diving with the Grey Nurse Sharks off Solitary Islands near Coffs Harbour, walking the silica sands in Jervis Bay, or climbing the towering Mt Gower on Lord Howe Island for an unsurpassed view of their yacht. Originally each individual marine park in Australia would require a permit for a superyacht to visit both for private and charter yachts, meaning extensive paperwork for each application. The founders of Superyachts 153°, Corina Wilson and Dave Saul have channelled their collective wealth of experience and knowledge of the superyacht industry to make life easier for Captains by their impeccable service with an individual touch.

“After years of working on superyachts all over the world, we saw Australia as an underutilised destination.” Says Corina Wilson. “With so much potential for exploration, and a country that is supporting this industry, it seemed only natural that we were in an ideal position to assist in attracting more superyachts not only to Australia, but also to the South Pacific. Staying on top of state and international border restrictions has become a priority. These days we feel captains may place more emphasis on the use of agents to enter Australia and to cross state borders. The attention to detail gives Captains peace of mind that the chasing of this adventure can be seamless and trouble-free.”

The diversity of cruising destinations in Australia is incredible with 26000 kms of coastline to explore. Summer in Tasmania for instance visiting the stunning Freycinet National Park and Historic Hobart. Sydney Harbour for its famous fireworks on New Year’s Eve, Queensland's Great Barrier Reef or the West Coasts, The Kimberley, Ningaloo reef or wine regions in the Southwest. There is really something to cater for all interests in Australia.
