SuperYacht Group Great Barrier Reef and the Coral Sea Foundation at the Singapore Yacht Show
Dr Andy Lewis is the founder of the Coral Sea Foundation and a member of the Super Yacht Group Great Barrier Reef. He has been invited to speak at the Asia-Pacific Superyacht Conference next month to highlight the tourism assets of the Tropical North Queensland region and the excellent facilities and infrastructure in Cairns to support voyages by superyachts from Asia.
The conference is on the opening day of the Singapore Yacht Show, an important regional event which attracts the greatest number of world-class yachts and maritime industry representatives of any event in Asia.
Dr Lewis will be discussing the status of the Great Barrier Reef and the wider Coral Sea region, promoting the area as a cruising destination, and raising support for the reef conservation work and community engagement programs being undertaken by the Coral Sea Foundation in Australia and Melanesia.
