Sea Leisure Yachting Group Acquires Ocean Voyager
The Sea Leisure Yachting Group (SLYG) proudly announces finalising the acquisition of the Ocean Voyager brand from the Grand Large Yachting Group in France, consolidating the position of SLYG as one of the leaders in the day charter sailing catamaran market.
As a result of the purchase the boat manufacturing division of SLYG, BAFF Polymech (Pvt) Ltd is rebranded as Ocean Voyager International (Pvt) Ltd and will manufacture in Sri Lanka the Ocean Voyager Catamaran range from 40’ to 78’ together with the range of multi day sailing catamarans such as the Ceycat 55 (4 to 8 cabin models) and the 27 meters Ocean Diamond (10 to 12 rooms), pioneering boutique hotel for coastal cruising and liveaboard.
Ocean Voyager specializes in the production of day charter catamarans and has evolved into one of the global leaders in the market with over a large number of catamarans built and in service around the world in the last 30 years including several boats manufactured in Sri Lanka under a JV with Grand Large since 2016.
