Sanctuary Cove Boating Festival

A host of high-calibre luxury brands have joined the extensive line-up of exhibitors that will be on display at the Sanctuary Cove Boating Festival from November 13 to 15 2020.

The event will be Australia's first boat show in 2020 and a welcome platform for the marine industry to showcase their latest arrivals, while serving as an exciting precursor to the 2021 Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show in May. Major marques confirmed to showcase premium vessels include Horizon, Leigh-Smith Yachts, Riviera, Maritimo, Princess, Whitehaven, Alexander Marine and Clipper Motor Yachts, with multiple worldwide and Australian launches scheduled to take place.

Visitors can explore a host of extraordinary multi-million dollar yachts, from the beautiful Princess V65 and the impressive Horizon RP100, to the Whitehaven 8000 SY - their largest ever built model - and "penthouse on the sea", the Ferretti 450.

Sales & Partnerships Manager Dominic O'Brien said while the Sanctuary Cove Boating Festival will feature a stellar display of luxury yachts, there will also be entry-level vessels, catering to every interest, boating style and budget. "It will be the first time the broader marine industry has come together this year and exhibitors are exceptionally keen to welcome the public to explore their latest products," Mr O'Brien said. "We're thrilled with the strong support shown by the industry's biggest brands and dealers, and we guarantee the public will experience an impressive gathering of luxurious, high-quality vessels on water at the world-class Sanctuary Cove Marina, which recently underwent a $12 million expansion."

Among the many launches will be the Australian premieres of the new long-range and luxurious 64 Sports Motor Yacht and 50 Sports Motor Yacht from the country's largest motor yacht manufacturer, Riviera. Boasting four sumptuous staterooms, three bathrooms, a large covered alfresco deck and a superbly appointed four-sided enclosed flybridge, the 64 SMY is complete with signature sports looks, sports performance and sporting cockpit, as well as renowned Riviera luxury and superior offshore, extended cruising capability.

Extending Riviera's range of popular Sports Motor Yacht models, the 50 SMY features a foredeck that can carry a tender or be optioned as a sunlounge, a sports cockpit, an alfresco deck, a stately three-sided glass-enclosed flybridge, and a full-beam master suite as centrepiece of a three-stateroom, twin-bathroom layout. Riviera's owner Rodney Longhurst said the team is proud to be presenting two of its 2020 new model premieres in one location at this special event.

"The Sanctuary Cove Boating Festival is a unique opportunity for boating enthusiasts to step aboard a premium selection of Riviera motor yachts in a boat show environment for the first time this year in Australia," Mr Longhurst said. "We believe the display we are preparing superbly showcases Riviera's 40 years of evolution and will clearly demonstrate why over 5,600 families around the world enjoy boating with Riviera."

Leigh-Smith Yachts will premiere the sophisticated Fairline Squadron 53, designed in collaboration with one of Italy's most exciting yacht designers. They will also premiere the Hampton Endurance 750, which features a number of fantastic additions that are sure to impress.

"The Endurance will take you and your guests wherever you voyage in luxury, comfort and style," Dean Leigh-Smith said. "It offers dual Portuguese bridge decks, three staterooms each with ensuite, expansive Sky Lounge, the latest array of Garmin electronics and several social lounging and formal dining areas for up to eight."

"The vessel has been equipped with state-of-the-art at-rest stabilisation, hydraulic thrusters and four external wing stations to ensure maximum manoeuvrability for any owner operator." Four popular models from leading Australian luxury motor yacht manufacturer Maritimo at its on water brand display are set to create a wave of interest, headlined by the revolutionary new X50R Performance Edition sports yacht and the release of the exciting new S55 Sedan Motor Yacht, scheduled for its world premiere in May 2021.

"The R Performance Edition is born from decades of our racing experience and technology, symbolizing the unearthed advancements of our world champion racing division," said Maritimo lead designer and current UIM XCat world champion, Tom Barry-Cotter. "Owners can expect an effortless high-speed cruising experience like no other, as well as a huge assortment of top line lifestyle and entertainment features. "The new S55 offshore adventuring sedan motor yacht marks the first of an evolutionary design shift to the exterior form and styling within the S-Series sedan motor yacht range.

"The key practical design features of S-Series models past remain, with an array of exterior form advancements and additional features included." Also on display will be information on the M55 Flybridge motor yacht ahead of its world premiere in March 2021, while on water the M64, X60and M51 will accompany the X50R Sports Edition, rounding out the impressive display.
