New Agents by Catalano App delivers Seamless Support
Catalano Shipping Services is currently rolling out a revolutionary new App called 'Agents' which not only links them to their clients but also links their offices together to achieve their goal of Seamless Support.With over 10 offices in the Mediterranean and now rapidly expanding into the Asia Pacific region, the group is focused on maintaining standards and fluidity as their clients move from place to place. And so far, it is working nicely.
"We set a goal from the start to only open offices that could reach the standards we set ourselves," says Regional Coordinator Richard Lofthouse. "Lots of dots on maps look good on your website but less good when the client doesn't get the service when they get there."
"Our Agents App has been in development for a few years and is a big part of our process. The App has already been downloaded by a hundred or so captains and crew and tested in the Med. It provides a real-time interface for them on key services - package tracking, transport, marina bookings, provision deliveries and much more. A captain can book a berth at any marina worldwide with us using the Agents App for example and receive a notification once the booking is complete. It really is the next level."
In the Asia Pacific region, the Agents App is being rolled out to select clients but already is having the desired effect.
"We are already seeing the fantastic connectivity we are after starting to work" reports CSS NZ Managing Director Duthie Lidgard. "We've had a few clients even during Covid moving seamlessly from NZ to Indonesia to Singapore to Europe and supported by Agents all the way through. Captains are loving the ease and speed of communication and know that our network coverage is solid and reliable wherever they go."
The Agents App can be downloaded from Google Play and Apple App Store and then login provided by the team at CSS and is currently being rolled out across the Agents group.
