Launch of ONE°15 Marina Nirup Island

A new yachting destination for ONE°15 Marina members and boating community, ONE°15 Marina Nirup Island adds yet another berthing venue to the ONE°15 network of marinas. ONE°15 Marina would like to express their gratitude for the support and turnout at the launch party of ONE°15 Marina Nirup Island Indonesia on 8 July 2023. In attendance at the Opening Ceremony were Mr Sumadi, Indonesian Minister of Transportation, Mr Ahmad, Governor of Kepulauan Riau, H.E. Suryo Pratomo, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary (Indonesia to Singapore), Jimmi Ho, Commissioner of PT Tritunas Sinar Benua, as well as all the ONE°15 Marina members and guests who attended. Highlights of the launch party included tours of The Riahi Residences, visits to Belakang Padang—a small island off Nirup Island, and enjoying a raving good time by the beach with our guest DJ and water toys.

ONE°15 Marina Nirup Island serves as a new yachting destination for our Members and boating community, adding another berthing venue to the ONE°15 network of marinas. With the island and hotel’s target completion slated for Q4 next year, guests will be able to enjoy the full suite of luxury hospitality and amenities offered by Westin Hotels & Resorts, the hotel operator when it opens.

In the long run, we hope to establish a thriving community here to support the surrounding island villages with a new avenue of economic and tourism income that can improve their livelihood. With the support of the Indonesian government authorities and the TSB team, we are also looking to eventually provide opportunities to educate these villagers about protecting their coastlines against climate change through activities like recycling and beach clean-up programmes.

The launch party was made possible by our generous sponsors – a big thank you to Simpson Marine Limited, SEABOB, SYC Powersports, Hong Seh Yachting and Kairos Strategic.
