Meet Lateral Naval Architects
Lateral Naval Architects Ltd was formed out of a strategic partnership between BMT Nigel Gee and Oceanco and was revealed to the world during the HISWA Press Tour visit to Oceanco’s yard. The very first superyacht project to be launched by the new company will be no other than the highly-anticipated 109-metre superyacht Project Y718, Bravo. Currently in build at Oceanco and featuring an exterior design by Nuvolari Lenard and an interior from the drawing boards of Reymond Langton Design.
Lateral has seen a busy period following its launch back in May. June saw the highly anticipated Superyacht Design Forum take place in London. Hosted by Superyacht Group, this two-day event sparked some interesting discussions, and Lateral was pleased to be one of the co-partners for the event. James Roy, Lateral’s Managing Director, gave a talk at the Forum on Asking New Questions within the superyacht industry, which created some insightful dialogue between the audience and James.
With the most prestigious event coming up in September, Lateral is extremely pleased to announce it will be exhibiting at this year’s Monaco Yacht Show. Positioned in the Designers Gallery, be sure to come and visit the stand, DG10, to find out more about Lateral’s brand and vision. Following this will be one of the largest trade events of the year, METS, and we are excited to be a partner at this year’s Superyacht Times Party 2018, which is always one of the best superyacht parties of the year!
