Burgess Celebrates 10th Anniversary in Asia

With 50 years at the forefront of the superyacht market, Burgess has established itself as the global leader in brokerage, charter, operational management, and new-build advisory services for yachts over 30m (100ft). Recognising the importance of delivering world-class services to the Asian market, Burgess launched operations in Asia in 2015. Today, the regional team spans Hong Kong, Shanghai, Singapore, Tokyo, Phuket, and Mumbai, fully supported by Burgess’ international network.

In 2025, Burgess’s Asia operation proudly celebrates its 10th anniversary. Over the past decade, the team has successfully transacted 40 superyachts for Asian and Asia-based clients, an achievement that has firmly established Burgess as the leading superyacht brokerage in Asia. As a result, at the 2025 Yacht Style Awards, Burgess won the award “Best Brokerage Firm in Asia above 40m.

In brokerage, the first half of the year has seen Burgess Asia expand its already impressive line-up of Central Agency listings with a few new additions, including TRANQUILITY (23.7m, Azimut), and HUMMINGBIRD (30.4m, Couach). The team also completed the successful sale of a 40.2m Princess in early 2025, following late-2024 sales of a 43m Sanlorenzo and a 42m Custom Line Navetta.

In charter, the Asia fleet has been further strengthened with the addition of pristine OCTAVE (36.5m, Sanlorenzo), providing clients with an expanded range of options for bespoke cruising experiences in the region.

Looking ahead to the second half of 2025, Burgess’ Asia team will be attending both the Cannes Yachting Festival and the Monaco Yacht Show with an impressive line-up of yachts at both shows, continuing to connect clients with the finest opportunities across the globe."
