Burgess Announced as Central Agent for the Sale of AMELIA

Burgess is delighted to announce its appointment as Central Agent for the sale of M/Y AMELIA, now lying in Hong Kong. Crafted by Princess Yachts International, UK, this stunning yacht boasts an expansive open-plan main deck, creating a captivating living space complete with a charming country-style galley and forward dining area. The 29.1m (95.4ft) AMELIA is part of the sought-after Princess X95 series, constructed in GRP by UK shipyard Princess Yachts International and delivered in 2022. With accommodations for up to 7 guests across 4 elegant cabins, indulge in unparalleled comfort and style on the high seas.

One feature that immediately strikes you on boarding is the open-plan main deck, which runs almost the full length of the yacht. With huge, near full-height picture windows and generous bulwark cut-outs, the space is filled with natural light and delivers excellent views. From the lounge area on the main deck aft, sliding glass doors open into the saloon, which has a C-shaped sofa to port opposite a second sofa. To starboard there are three armchairs around a coffee table, just aft of the central stairway down to the lower deck guest accommodation.

Forward of that is an open-plan galley with a three-stool island dinette and a formal dining table for eight guests. Again, views are exceptional. To port there is a staircase up to the sky lounge and an external staircase starboard aft gives access to the bridge deck aft. The sky lounge has an L-shaped sofa and armchairs to starboard, opposite the steps up from the main saloon. Forward is the bridge and there is U-shaped sofa wrapped around a table to port for guests to watch the captain in action. She has exceptional guest deck space thanks to an outsize bridge deck.

Aft there is a sun lounge surrounded by smoked-glass guardrails and partially shaded by the hardtop is a circular dining table for eight guests. To starboard the side deck leads forward to a sun lounge with U-shaped sofa seating and a raised jacuzzi. This foredeck lounge can also be accessed from the main deck’s port side deck. There is a large beach club with sofa seating all round and access to a dayhead, pantry and changing room. Steps lead up to the swim platform which has a hydraulic bathing platform for ease of access to the water. This is also used for launch and recovery of the Williams 520 Sportsjet tender, which stows on the swim platform on passage.

The full-beam owner’s suite is midships on the lower deck with his-and-hers ensuites, one with a bath, sharing a central shower room. Huge picture windows let in levels of natural light one might expect of a main deck suite. There is a double guest cabin forward, also with huge picture windows, and a double cabin. A fourth cabin has a single berth but is currently used as a day cabin and changing room. It could be converted into a second double cabin. All guest cabins are en suite.

Twin 2,000hp MAN diesel engines give her a top speed of 22 knots, a cruising speed of 12 knots and a maximum range of 800nm. For guest comfort she has a vector fin stabiliser system.
