Asia-Pacific Boat Show and Events 2023-2024

The Asia-Pacific is back in action with Hong Kong, Thailand, and Singapore all hosting boat shows in the coming months. In early 2024 Australia and New Zealand will hold their annual soirées and international boat shows, so there is a lot to look forward in the coming year, so make sure you put these date in your calendar now.

30 November to 3 December 2023: Hong Kong International Boat Show: Hong Kong International Boat Show returns after an absence of 3 years. The show will have both In-water and hardstand displays and is supported by the HKBIA. Well supported by the local Hong Kong yachting companies’ exhibitors includes Simpson Marine, Ferretti Group Asia Pacific, Princess, and Sunseeker. To kick-off the Boat Show, the HKBIA will be hosting a cocktail reception on Friday, 1 December 2023. Venue: Club Marina Cove, Sai Kung, Hong Kong

11–14 January 2024: Thailand International Boat Show (TIBS): The TIBS will take place in January 2024, with an expected 6,000 visitors and more than 100 exhibitors. TIBS is aimed at those interested in boating and a luxury lifestyle, and will feature yachts of all sizes, both power and sail, that will be on display in-the-water ranging from dinghies and day-trippers up to superyachts. 28 February – 3 March 2024: Dubai International Boat Show/ Middle East Yachting Conference: The Dubai International Boat Show is event leader in the region’s leisure and marine industry, and unites high-end buyers and world-class suppliers. With its rich history and proven track-record, the DIBS is growing year on year and provides unparalleled access to the Middle Eastern and Asian marine enthusiasts. Venue: Dubai Harbour, Dubai, UAE

9 March 2024: Superyacht Australia Soirèe: The Superyacht Australia Soirèe celebrates the superyacht luxury lifestyle and promotes superyacht chartering via access to an impressive display of vessels along Jones Bay Marina on Sydney Harbour – one of the most popular superyacht destinations in the world. Venue: Jones Bay Wharf, Sydney, Australia:

14 -15 March 2024: Auckland Boat Show: New Zealand’s biggest boat show showcases more than 200 domestic and international marine businesses, including dozens of vessel manufacturers and boat brokers. Perfectly timed to make the most of a summer on the water in the City of Sails, the Auckland Boat Show is the only boating expo in New Zealand where visitors can experience a huge display of luxury launches, innovative products and on-water sea trials. New Zealand’s leading boat distributors, importers and brokers are complemented by top marine electronics, marine engines, and ancillary equipment suppliers, alongside chandlers, marine service providers and plenty of b2b businesses. 25–28 April 2024: Singapore Yachting Festival (SYF): Singapore Yachting Festival 2024 will take place on 25-28 April 2024, alongside the Southeast Asia Yachting Conference (“SEAYC”) 23 to 24 April 2024 both are being held at ONE°15 Marina Sentosa Cove. The SYF provides an event platform for world-leading yacht builders, water-sport toys, and lifestyle brands. Venue: ONE°15 Marina Sentosa Cove, Singapore

20–22 May 2024: Australia Superyacht & Marine Export Conference (ASMEX): The annual ASMEX Conference has gained significant momentum over the last ten years and continues to attract a significant presence of Australian and international delegates and speakers. As the flagship conference in Australia continues to build on its solid reputation for delivering quality discussions on current industry developments and its networking opportunities. 23–26 May 2024: Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show. May/June 2024: Asia-Pacific Superyacht Summit (Date to be confirmed): The Asia-Pacific Superyacht Summit is due to take place in Hong Kong for two days in Spring 2024, with the goal of developing the Asian superyacht market in a bid to attract more yachts to the region. SuperYacht Times is already successfully organising a similar event in the Middle East, the Gulf Superyacht Summit. The two events will complement each other, as both regions benefit from more yachts travelling eastwards and will focus on burgeoning regions for the superyacht industry.
