APSA’s Asia Superyacht Night brings Island Vibes to Monaco

Asia-Pacific Superyacht Association (APSA) hosted its signature event, ‘the Asia Superyacht Night’ on the eve of the Monaco Yacht Show 2023. APSA was pleased to be able to welcome 200 APSA members and guests to this invitation-only event, held on the rooftop of the Novotel Monaco. A ‘must do’ party for the Asia-Pacific superyacht community, the evening was a great mix of new and long-term APSA members, VIP industry professionals, and potential members all of whom enjoyed the relaxed Island vibe.

Guests were welcomed by the Cook Islands dancers, who’s warmth and beauty are hallmarks of this island nation’s natural charm. Traditional dance performances, along with a dash of Asian Mid-Autumn Lantern Festival helped to create some memorable photo opportunities, and the combination of free flowing wine and great music by the Shockin Papas had everyone on their feet and dancing under the stars.

This year’s event was exceptionally well-supported by nine sponsors who included the Maritime Cook Islands and Cook Islands Yacht Squadron (returing as Premium Sponsors); four Gold Sponsors: YACHTZOO, Hill Dickinson, Superyacht Australia, and Dörries Yachts GmbH, and four Silver Sponsors: Azure Yacht Crew Health, GMT-Global Marine Travel, Frigomar and Next Tide Consultancy.

Nigel Beatty, Chairman of APSA, was pleased that the Asia Superyacht Night has proved to be such a success. “The Novotel rooftop is an awesome venue with its spectacular views of Port Hercules, and the timing is perfect, being held on the eve of the Monaco Yacht Show. Everyone loves the relaxed party atmosphere, and the networking opportunity to catch up before the show starts in earnest.”
