APSA New Member: SeedMarine Co Ltd
SeedMarine is committed to private yacht management, staffed by young professionals dedicated to providing high-quality all-round service and appropriate industry advice. Ocean Seed SeedMarine was established in Badouzi in Keelung City, Taiwan, in 2015. As market demand grew, SeedMarine set up a base in WuShi to provide local service to owners in Yi Lan. Another base in Kaohsiung City will be set up in late 2022 or early 2023 as planned.
By 2019, there were 15 yachts under SeedMarine management, and the number is growing. A subsidiary company, North Coast, was established to allow both local people and visitors to experience the yachting lifestyle and explore Taiwan’s beautiful coasts with or without a yacht. Ocean Seed Kitchen was created to provide yacht owners with comprehensive and private service. During 2020-2021, the Covid pandemic constrained travelling as well as sailing. SeedMarine decided it was time decided to reassess the best way to make boating and yachting more accessible to more people, in order to help the Taiwan yacht market grow. Ocean Seed Yacht Sailing School and the Taiwan Yacht Association were established to encourage more people to actually learn and cultivate the fun of sailing. We believe that training is the key to growing the marine leisure industry in Taiwan.
In 2021, SeedMarine spent the year actively exploring Taiwan’s cruising grounds: Hualien, diving in Lanyu, Green Island, meeting turtles in Xiaoliuqiu, and exploring the uninhabited islands in Penghu. SeedMarine provides yacht owners with the warmest total solution service, and the company plans to establish a yacht owners' club in the near future to create the ultimate sailing experiences with owners .
