Throughout 2023, APSA has been focused on reconnecting with the Asia-Pacific superyacht community, and with Asian yacht shows and conferences back on the calendar, it is proving to be a busy year. The organic growth of APSA continues to be extremely positive, and several new members have joined in 2023.

APSA would like to welcome Horizon Yachts (Taiwan), Hong Seh (Singapore), StellarPM (USA), and Dörries Yachts GmbH (Germany) as Premium members, as well as Ferretti Group APAC (Hong Kong), BSM Yachting GmbH (Germany), Frigomar (Italy), O2xH2O (Hong Kong), Port Denarau (Fiji), Seabob (Singapore), SeedMarine (Taiwan), Superyacht Academy (Australia), Sentient International Limited (Isle of Man), The Leisure Marine Association MENA (Dubai) and Tropical Serenity (Tahiti).

APSA welcomes all these new members and their details are all listed in the APSA Member’s Directory. Our fantastic Asia-Pacific cruising grounds have now taken centre stage and are featured at the beginning of the Guide, and information on our APSA members can be found under the country listings. This new edition of the APSA Guide (2023-24 edition) also includes a snapshot of some of our local Asia-Pacific experts and professionals. As the membership of APSA increases, the Association can speak with an ever stronger and more united voice.

ICOMIA President, Darren Vaux, who gave an inspiring keynote address at the SEA Yachting Conference 2023 in Singapore, noted that the leisure boating industry globally boomed during the pandemic. He said that when the industry wanes, it needs to find new markets; Asia is high on the list with its truly wonderful destinations and a high concentration of HNWIs.

The Asia-Pacific has an increasingly important role to play in the global superyacht industry. Its mature infrastructure is now seeing a growing stream of superyachts visiting the region. The return of regional boat shows and events this will help to strength our industry. APSA looks forward to being involved with, and supporting, the superyacht community and the new initiatives taking place in the region. APSA values each and every one of our members for their contribution and thank you again for your continued support.
