The Mission to Seafarers (MtS) Adventure Race Challenge Japan

As part of Travel Cue’s effort to help raise awareness of the Mission to Seafarers (MtS) incredibly important work within both the yachting and the shipping industries, as well as the much-needed funds, Travel Cue has entered two teams of three into the Mission to Seafarers Adventure Race on Japan's Izu Peninsula. This is a gruelling challenge, spanning over two days in May, which covers some difficult terrain with steep ascents and equally steep descents.

Mission to Seafarers (MtS) is a registered charity with presence in 200 port locations and which provides vital practical and emotional support to seafarers in various guises be they helping with mental health issues, justice and welfare cases, abandonment representation or providing green spaces at its various seafarer's centres.

With around 90% of all goods and fuel transported by sea, we are all heavily reliant on the world's seafarers, who frequently spend more than six months aboard vessels away from their families. They often miss out on key family occasions such as births, weddings, birthdays and sadly bereavement.

Travel Cue is hoping to raise $10,000 to help support MtS's invaluable work and as such would welcome any donations you may be able to contribute.
