Ocean Diamond - Explorer

The multihull yacht specialist Sail Lanka Yachting Group saw the gap in the yacht- building industry, and took the initiative to design the Ocean Diamond – Boutique, but they didn’t stop there and went on further to create and improve the concept with a modular space design option.

SLYG is reinterpreting multihull designs, and pushing the boundaries of space and sustainability by modernising the multihull yacht form, and offering better fuel economy, with good speed and paired with safety and comfort to go wherever you decide to explore in all sea conditions. The Explorer with a draft drawing 1.4 metres, is powered by two Cummins Diesel engines at 353Kw/480Hp each and is capable of reaching a top speed of 15 knots and a cruising speed of 12 knots. Solar panels cover an area of 82m2 with an output of 13.5kw.

The combination of the relaxation and entertaining space onboard is a priority and the yacht design  includes a massive skybridge with well-furnished loungers, and a generous dining area that opens from the saloon to enjoy the cruising experience. The two palatial owner cabins on the main deck contain an office station and lounge area, matched with beautiful views from their panoramic windows, and features a sea-facing bed in a very generous 30m2 room.

Family and friends can relax in comfort in the other cabins, choosing from two of the 14.5m2 double cabins, or the 16m2 triple cabin, all with ensuites. The modular design of the cabins allows individual customization of the Ocean Diamond – Explorer, which allows the owner to choose the interior layout design matched to their needs.  And total customization allows the owner to choose from a variety of hull colours, wood features and fabrics. Owners of the Diamond Explorer have the options to operate as a private yacht or a charter yacht, that can be managed by the Sail Lanka Yachting Group.
