"The awarding of platinum Gold Anchor accreditation to Nansha Marina is a reflection of the excellence in the marinas facilities and services. Achievement of platinum status has come from a long term commitment by the marinas management team and its owners to continual improvement. The high quality on-shore facilities including dining and boat lifting combined with a modern pontoon system for the safe berthing of vessels are key attributes of this world class marina".

About the global “Gold Anchor” scheme:

The Gold Anchor International Scheme is an industry accreditation scheme designed to assist marina users with their marina selection and to provide a customer focused framework for marinas to continually improve their service to consumers. The Global Gold Anchor Scheme has specifically been developed around the needs of boaters across the Asia/Pacific region. It takes into account the different types of marinas across this region.

Marinas currently utilizing the new rating system are independently assessed against specialized points-based criteria covering more than 96 different elements of marina facilities and services. Once a rating has been assigned to a marina subject it is subject to mystery shopper checks over the following three-year rating period to ensure the integrity of the system remains.

Platinum “Five Gold Anchor”—is the highest quality standard that currently exists in the global Marina Industry.
