GGCM Nomination for ACREW Superyacht Business Awards

Gold Coast City Marina & Shipyard (GCCM) has been nominated for the Best Superyacht Refit Yard by the 2021 ACREW Superyacht Business Awards. In the ultimate endorsement, these global awards acknowledge and celebrate the best refit and repair businesses in the world. The nominations for this highly coveted award come from an active network of over 15,000 captains and crew within the industry. These leading members of the industry put forward shipyards they believe offer the best refit services and facilities. The yards are evaluated on their communication between captains and crew and being able to provide an efficient refit process overall. Having taken the top prize for Best Australasian Superyacht Marina in ACREW Business Awards in 2020, the results of this year’s awards are much anticipated by the management and 90+ leading marine businesses based onsite at GCCM.

Additionally, GCCM was recently awarded the 2021 Club Marine Marina Industry Association’s Best Innovation by a Marina or Supplier Award for their work on two high profile yachts, M/Y Dragonfly (74 metres) and M/Y SuRi (63 metres). The work was completed simultaneously on water and made possible by the novel solutions pioneered and brought together using the tenants, contractors and capabilities onsite at GCCM.
