New Mega Yacht Berths in Yokohama

SUPER YACHT LOGISTICS (YOKOHAMA OFFICE) is pleased to announce new permanent Mega Yacht Berths in Yokohama in collaboration with YOKOHAMA BAYSIDE MARINA.

YOKOHAMA BAYSIDE MARINA is one of Japans largest marinas with over 1,400 permanent slips and more than 50 visitors berth. Although the visitor berths can accommodate up to 230 ft yachts with a 6 meter draught, permanent slips have always been limited to about 110 ft LOA.

In close consultation with SUPER YACHT LOGISTICS Bayside Marina has started construction of permanent berths to accommodate mega yachts up to at least 250 feet LOA, to be completed before the 2012 cruising season (which generally starts every year in April.) This will allow mega yachts to be permanently based in the Yokohama / Tokyo region.

This will bring the marina into line with other marinas around Japan, some of which have for many years had the capacity for yachts of up to 300 feet LOA.

JAPAN is made up of 6,852 islands is a premier cruising destination, with modern infrastructure as well as a 2,600 year old history. Marine services and dockage for Super Yachts and Mega Yachts have been well developed for over 30 years, and it has a warm to hot weather cruising season for 7- 8 months of the year.
