Founded in 1977, the Cannes Boat Show takes place in the beautiful French city every September and showcases almost 600 boats, including motor yachts, superyachts, catamarans, tenders and sailing yachts. The in-water show in the Bay of Cannes takes place in two of the city’s ports, the Vieux Port and Port Pierre Canto. With more than 100 sailing boats in Port Canto, the Yachting Festival will be the world’s largest in-water exhibition of large sailing boats, offering the best experience for sailing enthusiasts and buyers. Port Canto will continue to host the “Brokerage” area for second-hand boats from 22+ metres and the “Toys” area. The Vieux Port will be fully dedicated to the nautical motor industry and luxury and the lifestyle in the Luxury Gallery. A free shuttle service, maritime and on land, will provide the link between the two ports.
Britain’s biggest boating event, the Southampton Boat Show takes place every September in Mayflower Park and on a purpose-built marina. This year’s event will run from September 11-20 with tickets due to go on sale from spring 2020. Guests can expect a wide variety of on-water taster sessions, special celebrity guests and stands from the biggest names in boating, chartering and technology. The official line-up of boats attending the Southampton Boat Show will be announced from early summer.
Reserved exclusively for Perini Navi yachts, the exhilarating regatta will return to Porto Cervo, Sardinia, for its eighth edition in September 2020. Combining high-performance sailing with the relaxed lifestyle for which the Mediterranean is renowned, the Perini Navi Cup has proved to be extremely popular among yacht owners.
The event is hosted every two years by the Yacht Club Costa Smeralda in Porto Cervo, Sardinia, with race circuits marked out through the beautiful La Maddalena archipelago.The first feature on the programme will be a welcome event for owners, guests and crew, and three days of racing will get underway the following morning.
More than just a competition, the Cup offers a lively social programme which also includes a yacht hop and gala dinner and a friendly atmosphere both on land and on the water can be expected. The fleet of Perini Navi yachts in attendance is anticipated to include the 88m/289ft charter yacht ‘Maltese Falcon’. A regular competitor, she reclaimed her title at the last edition after missing out in 2015 and 2013. The racing is usually divided into two divisions: the Cruiser Racer and the Corinthian Spirit. The trophies will be presented in an awards ceremony on the final evening of the event.
The 30th edition of the Monaco Yacht Show (MYS) is still on course to take place from Wednesday 23 to Saturday 26 September 2020 at Port Hercule in Monaco. The MYS provides the various sectors of the luxury yachting industry with an opportunity to showcase their products, services and innovations. Shipyards and yachting brokers, for example, can invite clients keen to discover the world of luxury yachting onto their superyachts. Every year, Monaco stages the biggest display of superyachts in the world, featuring over one hundred boats boasting an average length of 49m.

Fort Lauderdale is hosting the largest boat show in the world with seven locations in the exciting city of Florida. The show locations include the Hall of Fame Marina, the Hilton Fort Lauderdale Marina and the Sails Marina. There’s also the Bahia Mar Fort Lauderdale Beach Hotel and Yachting Centre as well as Las Olas Municipal Marina, the Hyatt Regency Pier 66 Marina and the Greater Fort Lauderdale/Broward County Convention Centre.
The newest enclave for superyachts and superyacht enthusiasts, Superyacht Village is an exclusive marina and on-land destination area that will display the most spectacular yachts in the show. Framed by a notable display of some of the world’s most spectacular vessels and exhibits by renowned shipyards, Superyacht Village and marina will also feature yacht toys including helicopters, personal submarines, as well as exotic and collectible automotive. The Superyacht Village will be open to all general admission ticket holders. Direct access by water tenders and shuttle bus routes from the show’s other six locations is available, as well as on-site valet and parking. Superyacht Village will be located at Pier Sixty-Six Hotel & Marina’s new “Pier South” property, which is adjacent to the southeast corner of the 17th Street Causeway bridge - the gateway to the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show.
